Fast Fence have a wealth of experience and expertise in developing bespoke solutions for site hoarding and fencing. Working with our consultant engineers we can design a system to meet the challenges of any site.

Wind Loading

All Fast Fence hoarding systems are designed to withstand loadings imposed by the wind. Our engineers will produce site specific structural calculations to determine the appropriate foundation size or Kentledge requirement for your project. Fast Fence are fully responsible for the design of the hoarding giving you peace of mind that your hoarding is secure and will not pose any health and safety threats to site personnel or the public.

We can produce bespoke designs to create hoardings to cater to any wind speed;
these have included airports, coastal sites, and sites at high altitude where winds
can be in excess of 45m/s or 100mph.

Crowd Loading

Some sites such as stadiums or arenas have the risk of crowds of people passing by during the event and therefore the hoarding has to be designed to take the load of these crowds with appropriate foundations or Kentledge and bracing.

Our engineers can design a system that will meet the crowd loading requirement for any project; these have included football stadiums and event arenas where crowd loads have been up to 3kN/m2.

Bespoke Design

We can design hoardings to meet any site conditions including bespoke fixing detail and sizing. This may be at various heights to meet local authority stipulations or simply to provide added security in areas of particular vulnerability. We have installed hoardings of heights up to 5m and gates of various widths up to 20m.

Site challenges

Every site has its own challenge. Fast Fence can manufacture bespoke hoardings made to measure to fit the site conditions, this may include hoardings erected on flights of steps, steep slopes, or specific sizes to tie into or move around buildings
or other structures.

No-dig solutions

Our surface mounted Blocklocker® system is a unique product to Fast Fence and has been developed specifically for sites that require a no-dig solution where traditional in-ground posts are not suitable.

Its typical application is for sites where services are present along the hoarding line to avoid risk of a service strike or where the hoarding will sit on a finished surface to eliminate the cost and disruption of repair. It is also used on sites where the hoarding needs to be moved quickly or often e.g. between phases of work or to relocate hoarding between projects.
